JVC KM-IP8S4

The KM-IP8S4 is the SDI-equipped member of JVC's vMix 4K studio switcher line, combining a minimum of eight NDI HX inputs at 1080p60 with four SDI inputs for cabled cameras that never left the baseband world. The licensed vMix 4K software underneath handles streaming and recording, and mixing IP and SDI sources on one system suits venues that run a house of hardwired cameras alongside networked PTZ and remote feeds.

The compact 2RU chassis carries four bi-directional 3G-SDI connectors plus a dedicated 3G-SDI output and an HDMI output, with four DisplayPort outputs for the GUI, preview/program, multiview, and aux surfaces. As with the rest of the family, network output spans NDI, SRT, and RTMP/S, and the switcher records ISO files of its inputs for instant replay and post.
