JTS GML-5212 Gooseneck Condenser Microphone with Interchangeable Capsules and LED
The GML-5212 solves the problem that a conference room rarely knows its own pattern requirements until the room is in use. Three interchangeable capsule modules are bundled with the microphone, cardioid, supercardioid and omni-directional, so a delegate position can be retuned by swapping a capsule instead of reordering hardware. A -10 dB pad and a low-cut switch on the body handle a close talker and HVAC rumble without touching the console.
An LED ring on the gooseneck shows whether the position is open, which is what a chair and a camera operator need in a discussion system; the LED runs when the microphone is fed 48V phantom. Phantom power is accepted anywhere from 9 to 52 VDC for systems that supply less, the output is a standard 3-pin male XLR, and the gooseneck is 468 mm and rated ultra-flexible for tight table layouts.
