JBL AM5215/64 15-inch 2-Way Loudspeaker with 60 degrees x 40 degrees Horn

The AM5215/64 is a 15-inch 2-Way loudspeaker with 60 degrees x 40 degrees horn, part of JBL's AE Series installed range. The low-frequency section uses 1 x JBL 265H-1 380 mm (15 in) driver with 50.8 mm (2 in) dual voice coil. High frequencies come from JBL 2408H-1, 38 mm (1.5 in) exit compression driver, 38 mm (1.5 in) voice coil. Nominal coverage is /64: 60 degrees x 40 degrees /66: 60 degrees x 60 degrees /95: 90 degrees x 50 degrees /26: 120 degrees x 60 degrees. Frequency range is 35 Hz - 20 kHz. JBL rates it at Passive mode: 350 W (1400 W peak), 100 hrs (IEC rated).

The enclosure is Trapezoidal with 15 degree side angles, 16 mm (5/8 in) exterior grade 11-ply birch plywood. The grille is Powder coated 14 gauge perforated steel, with acoustically transparent black foam backing. Finish is Black DuraFlex finish. White available upon request. Crossover: Bi-amp/Passive switchable. Rigging: 15 points (4 top, 4 bottom, 2 each side, 3 rear), M10 threaded hardware. Environmental rating: Mil-Std 810; IP-x3 per IEC529.
