Irix Lens Hood for 150mm f/2.8 Macro
A 150 mm macro spends its life close to the subject and close to whatever light is bouncing around the set, which is exactly the situation a hood is for. This one blocks sidelight off the front element before it turns into veiling glare, and it is cut to the 150mm's angle of view so nothing vignettes at the corners.
The useful detail is the window in the barrel of the hood. A circular polariser or a variable ND has to be rotated after the hood is on, and most hoods make you take the whole thing off to do it. Reach through the window instead. Irix lists this hood for the Dragonfly 150mm f/2.8 Macro.
