Ikegami ECO-HD21A Compact 2.1MP HD Camera

The ECO-HD21A is Ikegami's compact color camera with a 1/3-inch 2.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, built to broadcast standards with SDI output standardized by SMPTE. It delivers full HD 1920 x 1080 at 60P, 60i, 50P, 50i, 30P, and 25P, plus 1280 x 720 at 60P and 50P. HD-SDI/3G-SDI, HDMI, and composite outputs run alongside each other, with SDI and HDMI available simultaneously, so the same small camera drops into a wide range of recording and monitoring chains.

Low-light performance is a strength: 0.1 lux minimum illumination with over 50dB signal-to-noise ratio keeps images clean in dim scenes. An advanced RGB interpolator lifts resolution, and the processing stack adds wide dynamic range compensation, adaptive digital noise reduction, an adaptive contrast enhancer, lens shading compensation, live defect detection and correction, highlight and privacy masking, motion detection, color rolling suppression, and an on-screen display. Those capabilities make it useful well beyond security, in traffic, visual inspection, and medical video work.
