IDX Protech ST-10 Tripod Adapter Plate and Base Kit

The ST-10 is the complete Sony-type quick-release arrangement: the ST-1 adapter plate that lives on the camera, and the VST-14 base that lives on the head. Buying them as a kit is how most crews start.

The ST-1 measures 2.56 by 0.59 by 9.69 inches and weighs about 0.46 lb; the VST-14 is 3.15 by 1.06 by 11.0 inches and 1.5 lb. Both follow the Sony VCT-14 and U14 pattern.
