The flood configuration puts Hive's parabolic flood reflector on the Hornet 200-C head. Hive describes this reflector as producing a wider beam of focused light with a more even field than the spot options, which is what makes it the choice for high output in a small space or for washing a broad area from close in.

Underneath, it is the same 150 watt Omni-Color fixture as every other 200-C variant: full hue and saturation control across 1,650K to 8,000K, up to 98 CRI, universal wall power or 24 - 36 V DC, and manual, DMX or smartphone control.
