Hear Technologies Switch Back M8RX

Switch Back M8RX is two products in one: a personal interface for live sound or recording, and a multi-channel headphone monitoring system. It mixes eight channels total, two studio-quality microphone preamps, two line-level inputs, and four Dante network audio inputs/outputs, with zero-latency analog mixing and monitoring of the four local inputs. The mic preamps hold distortion below 0.001% even at 60 dB of gain.

The unit is small enough to belt-clip, mount on a mic stand, or set on a table via its standard 1/4-inch 20 tripod thread, and shares the same headphone amp as the Hear Back PRO and OCTO systems, rated 5 watts of headphone power. It runs on Power over Ethernet across the same Cat6 cable that carries its Dante audio, and connects to a computer over the same Ethernet port. The M8RX is manufactured in the U.S.
