Isolation is the whole argument for a supply like this. Five separate 9V DC outputs, each rated 120mA, means a noisy digital pedal cannot put its hash into the fuzz sitting next to it on the board. Total draw across the five is 600mA, which covers a compact rig of overdrives, a tuner and a modulation box without running anything at the edge of its rating.

The enclosure is all metal with vented slots for heat, and there are mounting slots so it fastens under a board rather than rattling around loose. Mains input switches between 115V and 240V for travel outside North America, and a lit power switch means you kill the rig at the board instead of reaching behind a riser for the plug. It ships with the AC power cord, five DC cables and a polarity inverter cable.
