Gator Largo Series Lightweight Viola Case

Viola bodies come in a range of lengths, and a case that fits a 15 in instrument leaves a 16 in one jammed against the lid. Gator splits the Largo viola case into two sizes so the contour-molded, plush-lined nest actually matches the body it holds and the instrument sits still on the walk to rehearsal.

The shell is an EPS hybrid: enough structure to shrug off a knock, without the weight a student has to carry across a campus. Two bow holders sit inside, an exterior pocket takes rosin and a shoulder rest, and a padded shoulder strap plus heavier custom zippers finish it. Both sizes measure 34.5 x 12 x 6.5 in outside and weigh 5 lb.
