FXLION FX-VS40 V-Mount Hot-Swap Plate

The FX-VS40 sits between the camera and the battery and holds an internal cell of its own. It mounts to the device, the main V-mount pack mounts to it, and when that pack is pulled or its voltage falls below 11.7V the plate takes over automatically. Power to the camera never stops, so a battery change is no longer a reason to stop rolling or reboot a rig mid-setup.

An OLED screen starts a countdown the moment the plate takes over, up to 120 seconds, so the swap is against a visible clock rather than a guess. The internal cell is a high-rate type good for 20A and up to 200W, and the plate distributes power as well as bridging it: one USB-C input/output, two D-Tap outputs and two more USB-C outputs for the accessories hanging off the cage.
