FXLION MEGA BATTERY - 28V / 620Wh

The MEGA BATTERY is the block you bring when a camera battery is not the answer: 620Wh of storage, two 28V outputs rated 40A maximum and a third at 15V/8A, all usable at the same time. That is enough current for high-power LED fixtures and the rest of a location package running off one pack, which is the difference between a generator call and a cart.

The cells are the high-discharge li-ion type used in electric vehicles, and they hold up in the cold: FXLION rates 60% of capacity available at -30 C, against a working range of -30 C to +55 C. A high-power protection chip covers overcharge, over-discharge, over-heat and over-current, and the cells have no memory effect, so partial charges do not cost capacity over a season. A thick rubber sheath takes the knocks that a battery this size collects on site. Charge it with the PL-7115 charger, which fills it in about five hours.
