Earthworks QTC40 Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone
The QTC40 is a reference omnidirectional condenser with an extraordinary 3 Hz to 40 kHz response held to +1/-3 dB - genuinely ruler-flat, with no frequency exaggerated or attenuated. That makes it a first choice where absolute accuracy matters: acoustic instruments, piano, room and orchestral capture, and critical measurement work.
Its omnidirectional pattern stays uniform across the band, and an extremely fast impulse response captures transients other mics smear. It handles up to 140 dB SPL and runs on 24 to 48 V phantom over XLR. Available as a single mic or a factory-matched pair for stereo work where two mics must behave identically - select above.
