ESE DV-242 SDI Quad 1x2 Reclocking Distribution Amplifier
The DV-242 splits four independent SDI signals to two reclocked BNC outputs each, giving a machine room eight clean, equalized feeds from four incoming lines in a single rack unit. It automatically detects the incoming data rate, so the same box handles 270 Mb/s SD, 1.5 Gb/s HD, and 3 Gb/s 3G-SDI sources without any manual configuration or format switches.
Reclocking and cable equalization mean a marginal or long-haul feed comes out the other side clean, good for up to 400 meters of 1694A coax at 270 Mb/s, 200 meters at 1.5 Gb/s, or 140 meters at 3 Gb/s. It is DVB-ASI compliant at 270 Mb/s, runs on a universal 85-264 VAC supply with no external brick, and fits a single rack unit for dense machine-room installs.
