ENCO VDR Rackmount Multi-Camera Production System

VDR is the rack-mount member of ENCO's vDesk production line. It takes eight inputs that can be NDI or SDI, which matters in a facility running both: the baseband cameras already in the building and the IP sources arriving over the network feed the same switcher without a converter in front of each one.

Program goes out over NDI and SDI together, and camera control, graphics and clip playout are part of the system rather than separate machines. The rack-mount chassis is the practical difference from the desktop configurations - it lives in the equipment room and is driven from a control position, instead of sitting on the desk itself.
