DVDO C3-1 Full HD PTZ Camera with HDMI, IP and 3G-SDI and Intelligent Tracking

The C3-1 is a Full HD PTZ camera built around teaching spaces, where the subject moves and nobody is available to operate the camera. Intelligent teaching tracking follows the presenter automatically, and the viewing angle is adjustable so the framing suits the room rather than a fixed template. A 72.5 degree wide-angle lens covers a whole teaching wall, and 12x optical zoom with 16x digital reaches the far end of a large room.

Outputs cover HDMI, IP and 3G-SDI, so the same camera feeds a local display, a network stream and a switcher at once. H.265 encoding keeps the IP stream small at 1080p, AAC handles the audio, and the image style is matched across the range so a multi-camera room cuts cleanly. Setup is done through a configuration interface, and DVDO publishes a VISCA control protocol document for integration with a controller or a control system.
