Dream calls the Moon Ride its musical manhole cover, which is a fair description of a heavy, fully unlathed ride. There is almost no wash, so every note lands separately no matter how dense the mix gets. Thrash and metal players buy it for exactly that.

Each one begins as a finished, hand-hammered B20 cymbal and is then re-fired in Dream's Dark Matter process, the second firing that gives the series its ashen surface and drier voice. Diameters offered here run 20 in and 22 in, each ordered as its own part number.
