Dream Cymbals Bliss Paper Thin Crash Cymbals
Paper Thins are the softest thing Dream makes off the stick. A special hammering and lathing pass leaves the metal flexible enough to open at a whisper, so the crash is full at low volume and never turns brittle when it is hit hard. Studio players take them for that; stage players take them because they decay before the next bar.
Each one is cast from Dream's B20 bronze, then hammered and lathed by hand rather than pressed, which is why two cymbals of the same size are never quite identical. Diameters offered here run 14 in, 15 in, 16 in, 17 in, 18 in, 19 in, 20 in and 22 in, each ordered as its own part number.
