Crestron DMC 4K HD DSP HDCP2
The Crestron DMC-4K-HD-DSP-HDCP2 is a 4K HDMI input card for card-based Crestron DigitalMedia switchers, carrying every feature of the standard 4K HDMI input card with the addition of audio downmixing. Its HDMI input handles resolutions up to 4096x2160 DCI 4K and 3840x2160 UHD, up to 60 Hz with 4:2:2 color sampling, and supports HDCP 2.2, Deep Color, 3D, and high-bitrate 7.1 audio.
Onboard DSP decodes a multichannel surround signal and downmixes it to stereo, so the original 7.1 feed can travel to surround-equipped rooms while a matching 2-channel mix is routed simultaneously to stereo-only rooms and devices. The card provides an HDMI pass-through output, an analog audio output carrying the stereo downmix, and a USB HID port, and it accepts DVI or Dual-Mode DisplayPort sources through an appropriate adapter.
