Countryman I2 Saxophone and Brass Instrument Microphone Kit

The I2 was designed around pattern accuracy rather than size: its polar patterns hold their shape with deep nulls and natural off-axis response across the band, in omnidirectional, cardioid, hypercardioid, or bidirectional versions, with a body that measures 7 by 10.5 by 3.5 mm so it stays invisible in a camera shot.

This kit pairs the I2 with Countryman's saxophone and brass kit, which uses viscoelastic damping to grip a saxophone or brass bell without transmitting key, body, or handling noise into the capsule. Choose standard gain (150 dB SPL, for close miking) or high gain (20 dBA noise floor, for distance miking), a 5 ft cable for wireless use or 10 ft hardwired, and the connector code for the transmitter it needs to plug into.
