The drop between a ceiling plate and a projector or display mount is never known exactly until the ceiling is open. Chief's CMS adjustable columns handle that: the column is notched so it can be set in 1 inch increments without being taken apart, and a set screw locks it once the height is right.

Each column is 1.5 inch NPT, threaded on both ends, so it pairs with any Chief 1.5 inch NPT ceiling plate, coupler or mount. Capacity is 500 lb, which is far beyond any projector - the column is not the limiting part of the assembly. Available in black or white at the same price. TAA compliant, UL Listed.
