FLEXstand solves the clamp-fit problem directly: the telescoping pole steps through three diameters, 2 inches at the bottom, 1.7 in the middle and 1.34 at the top, so a clamp sized for one stand still finds a section it grips. The top tapers into a speaker mount, which means the same stand carries a top box or a lighting bar depending on the night.

Load capacity is 150 lb, with a 36 lb base giving it the mass to hold that safely; the complete stand is 44 lb. Height runs 4.8 to 8 feet. A trigger-style safety release lets the pole descend under control rather than dropping, and the whole thing sets up and tears down with no tools. Threaded inserts are M20-2.5 at the base and M10-1.5 at the pole top, and the pole can be inserted in multiple positions.
