Chauvet DJ CH-05 Safety Cable

CH-05 is the steel lanyard that goes on every fixture hung over people, and it is the cheapest item in a rig that has any business being there. Thirty-one inches of 3 mm steel cable with a carabiner on one end loops the yoke to the truss so a failed clamp does not become a dropped fixture.

It is rated to a 68 lb (30 kg) temporary load, which is the load it catches rather than the load it carries. The carabiner sizing suits most Chauvet DJ fixtures and standard truss, and at 0.1 lb it adds nothing to a hang.
