Cartoni P20 HP Pneumatic Pedestal (P022)

The P20 HP is Cartoni's compact pneumatic pedestal for mobile work and lightweight studios. Height comes in two stages: a pre-settable tripod extension with positive clamps sets the working height, then a pneumatic hexagonal column adds a 40 cm on-shot stroke on top of it. Column pressure is pumped and set by hand to match the exact weight of the camera package, which is what makes the movement smooth and jerk-free rather than springy.

The column holds up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and includes an air pressure gauge, a locking brake and a safety valve set at a maximum of 187 psi. The foldable dolly has a six-position track lock and a foot-operated brake on each 100 mm wheel, and its arms extend to match 620 mm track pace or retract for narrow spaces. Heads bolt on with a four-bolt direct attachment, or the optional AH869 adapter takes any 100 mm bowl base head. The manual air pump is included; the skating wheel accessory for rail work is optional.
