Canon Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E9A

The Canon Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E9A adds fast, professional wireless connectivity to the EOS-1D X Mark III DSLR and the EOS C500 Mark II Cinema EOS camera. Built for photojournalists, sports shooters, and studios that need images off the camera the moment they are captured, it supports IEEE 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO across both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. That gives transfer speeds up to 867 Mbps and a working range of up to roughly 492 feet, so files reach an editor or FTP server almost as fast as they are shot.

Images can be moved by FTP or FTPS transfer, through EOS Utility, or via Browser Remote using the built-in WFT server, and the transmitter also enables remote camera control and multi-camera synchronized shooting. The compact body is sealed for dust and water resistance to hold up on assignment, and at about 45 g it adds almost no weight to the rig.
