BSS Soundweb Contrio EC-V Ethernet Wall Controller with Volume Control

The EC-V is the single-knob member of the Soundweb Contrio wall controller range. It talks HiQnet over one Ethernet port that also powers it via PoE, and it controls and monitors parameters inside BSS Soundweb London processors and other HiQnet devices including Crown DCi amplifiers. Configuration is drag-and-drop inside Audio Architect.

The single push/rotary encoder rotates for continuous parameters such as volume and presses for binary parameters such as mute, or for preset recall. The encoder ring around it is backlit in eight selectable colours with adjustable intensity and can show a bouncing audio meter, a temporary volume readout while the knob turns, or a mute state on press. A sleep function shuts the LEDs off after a period of inactivity, which matters in a dimly lit room, and the panel can be locked and unlocked remotely from another control system.
