BSS BLU-8v2 Programmable Zone Controller

The BLU-8v2 is a HiQnet zone controller that runs a single zone, four zones or eight zones depending on the mode it is programmed into. Two rotary encoders and five push buttons make up the whole control surface, backed by a nine-segment LED meter and RGB LEDs so a member of staff can see what a change did without reading a manual.

It shares its feature set and appearance with the original BLU-8 but the hardware underneath was rebuilt, drawing on the rack-mount Soundweb London devices, which is where the improved networking comes from. It fits a 3-gang US box, takes control and power over a single Ethernet cable via PoE, and is configured in HiQnet Audio Architect. Black and white finishes are available.
