Blackmagic 12G-SDI SFP Optical Module
The Blackmagic 12G-SDI SFP Optical Module drops into a Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G to add optical fiber connectivity for SD, HD and Ultra HD SDI signals at full 12G data rates. It is a duplex transceiver that works over singlemode or multimode fiber through LC connectors.
On singlemode fiber at 1310nm, the module extends a 12G-SDI 4K signal up to 28 miles, well past what coax can carry, which makes it the choice for a permanent fiber run between a venue and a remote truck. Blackmagic part number BMD-ADPT-12GBI/OPT.
