Blizzard Lighting Cool Cable 5-Pin DMX Cable

This is the 5-pin XLR member of Blizzard's Cool Cable DMX range, male to female, for desks and fixtures that use the full DMX512 pinout. Construction is the same as the 3-pin cable: 120 ohm characteristic impedance, low capacitance, and a double foil-and-braid shield, all to the USITT data-cable spec rather than a microphone spec.

The two conductors are oxygen-free copper at 0.34 sq mm, wound about five times tighter than a standard XLR cable, in a flexible black PVC jacket that does not stiffen in a cold room or go tacky in a hot one. Color-coded connectors keep data runs visually separate from audio on a busy stage. Both lengths carry a lifetime warranty.
