Black Box KV9008A ServSwitch EC 8-Port KVM Switch, VGA and PS/2

The eight-port ServSwitch EC gives one VGA/PS/2 console control of eight servers, with video to 1920 x 1440 and DDC2B compatibility so it works with current digital monitors. Switching is by front-panel button, hotkey or the on-screen display, and the programmable auto-scan steps through the ports at an interval you set, skipping any you have marked unused.

Cascade the unit in a master-slave arrangement and a single console reaches as many as 64 servers. The design is hardware- and software-transparent and operating-system independent, keyboard and mouse ports are hot-pluggable, and system settings plus the names you assign each server are held in non-volatile memory. Password protection is built in.
