Black Box KV2004A ServSwitch Wizard 4-Port Dual-Link DVI-D KVM Switch with True USB Emulation
True USB Emulation is the point of this one. The full characteristics of the attached USB peripherals - keyboards, mice and the specialised devices that normally break behind a KVM - are presented to every connected system at once, and each computer keeps that information even after the device has been plugged into another machine. Switching is instantaneous and hotkeys keep working.
Video covers dual-link DVI-D, single-link DVI-D and VGA, with DVI resolutions to 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz and VGA to 1920 x 1200, plus true DDC EDID support. Two dedicated keyboard/mouse ports sit alongside two transparent USB 2.0 ports for everything else. The intelligent options port takes firmware updates, RS232 switching commands or dry contacts, and links two Wizard switches for synchronous multi-head switching. Rackmount brackets are included.
