Black Box KV0081A ServSwitch CX Uno 8-Port CATx KVM Switch

The CX Uno replaces bulky KVM cable looms with ordinary CATx runs. Servers attach through Server Access Modules - PS/2, USB or Sun, ordered separately - and can sit up to 32.8 feet (10 m) from the switch. Video runs to 1920 x 1200 when there is less than 164 feet between the server and the user, and stereo audio is supported on all platforms.

At less than half the width of a standard 19-inch device, the unit supports up to 31 cascaded servers in 1U, which makes it a natural partner for a KVM drawer in a dense rack. Add a CX Remote Unit (the KV04-REM or KV04U-REM series) and a second user can work from more than 900 feet away over a single CATx cable. Like the rest of the CX line it accepts RS232 switching commands and can be synchronised with other units for multi-head video, and it is flash upgradeable.
