MP-1 Mixphones use large-format 50 mm drivers behind a Vari-Voice switch, so the same headphone can be checked in a flatter, more reference-leaning mode or switched to a more consumer-leaning voicing to hear how a mix will translate on typical listening gear. Frequency response is rated 18 Hz to 25 kHz.

Max SPL runs 130 dB at 0.5% THD, or 146 dB with the pad engaged, at a rated power of 15 mW and a maximum of 30 mW, with a noise floor of 113 dB (IEC-318 at 1 mW, 1 kHz). Impedance is 16 ohms +/-15%, and the pair weighs 0.55 kg. Standard and Black finishes are the same headphone.
