Autoscript WPIPN WinPlus-IPN
WinPlus-IPN is the newsroom licence for WinPlus-IP: it is not a standalone application but the upgrade that wires Autoscript's prompting software into the newsroom computer system a station already runs. Once licensed, scripts and running orders flow in from the NRCS and update on the prompter in real time as the rundown changes, which is the difference between a prompt operator retyping a late story and simply watching it appear. Newsroom connection status is shown in the interface so an operator can see at a glance whether the link is healthy.
The licence adds multi-rundown operation, so several programmes can be loaded at once for a station cutting between shows, and closed caption support, which makes the script available as an output for captions and subtitles. Connectivity is over MOS and FTP, covering the leading newsroom systems including Avid iNews, Dalet, Annova Open Media, AP ENPS, Octopus, Dayang, Sobey, NIS4, and Inception. Connections can be given friendly names and defined connection types. It requires an existing WinPlus-IP installation on Windows 8.1 or 10 with 8GB of RAM, an i5 processor, 5GB of free disk, and OpenGL 3 graphics.
