Auralex SubDude-II Subwoofer Isolation Pad

A subwoofer sitting flat on a floor drives that floor along with the room, and the buzz and boom that follows is structural, not acoustic. SubDude-II is a lower-profile version of Auralex's original SubDude, built the same way: a velour-covered inert structural layer floating on a cushion of Platfoam, decoupling the sub from whatever it sits on.

The result is less rattle transmitted through walls, floors, and ceilings, and a cleaner, less colored bass response from the sub itself, in a pad thin enough to sit under compact home theater and hi-fi subwoofers up to 200 lbs.
