AtlasIED Q418 8 inch Q Series 1.5 Cubic Ft Enclosure Square

The AtlasIED Q418 is an 8 inch Q Series 1.5 cubic ft enclosure square. This 8" Q Series enclosure have a unique acoustical fiber board permanently affixed to the inner walls of the enclosure which effectively eliminates the "hangover" and vibration normally associated with large metal enclosures. To achieve additional rigidity, unique ribs are formed on the back side of the enclosure. It is cut for 8" loudspeakers.

In addition, the inner walls are lined with 1 1/2" (38mm) thick fiberglass with a 1 1/2 lb./cu.ft. Density to control unwanted resonances in the high end of the frequency spectrum. AtlasIED lists 1.5 cubic foot capacity - matches well with 8CXT60 and FA138 drivers; high performance enclosure for 8" loudspeakers; requires 164-8A (white) or 164-8A-052 (black) baffle; not suitable for use with the 12CX or 12CXT60. It measures 8" high and 18" wide. It ships at 24.00 lbs, is safety listed to UL 1480, and carries a manufacturer warranty of 60 months from date of purchase.
