Ashly CA1.04 Four-Channel Power Amplifier
The CA1.04 is the four-channel, 1000 W per channel member of Ashly's CA Series. Its D-MAX Class D output stage holds full rated power all the way down to 2 ohms, so a single chassis can carry sixteen 8-ohm cabinets or a pair of heavy subwoofer loads without derating. Each channel drives 70 V line directly, and bridged channel pairs deliver 2000 W at 100 V, which removes the transformer from most distributed-system designs.
Dynamic Power Factor Correction keeps current and voltage in phase so several CA amplifiers can share one 20 A service, and SailFlow cooling routes air only across the parts that make heat rather than through the whole chassis. Every channel has its own front panel attenuator with lockout, a rear DIP-selectable input gain of 26, 32 or 38 dB, a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and clip limiter, and a CV remote port. Inputs are combo Euroblock, quarter-inch TRS and XLR; outputs are 7.62 mm Euroblock.
