Ashly CA1.54 Four-Channel Power Amplifier
The CA1.54 tops Ashly's CA Series with 1500 W on every one of its four channels, held at full rated power from 4 ohms all the way down to 2. Bridged pairs put out 3000 W at 4 or 8 ohms, and each channel drives 1500 W into a 70 V line without an output transformer, so one chassis can cover a stadium subwoofer array or a large distributed system with the same wiring.
Ashly's D-MAX supply pairs silicon carbide semiconductors with Dynamic Power Factor Correction, which is what lets two CA1.54s, 6000 W each, run from a single 20 A service. SailFlow cooling directs airflow across the hot components only, keeping the temperature-controlled fans quiet under load. Per-channel controls include a front panel attenuator with lockout, DIP-selected input gain of 26, 32 or 38 dB, a switchable 80 Hz second-order high-pass filter, a clip limiter and a CV remote port; inputs are combo Euroblock, quarter-inch TRS and XLR.
