AMX NX-4200 NetLinx NX Integrated Controller
The NX-4200 is the port-dense member of the NetLinx NX controller family, built for auditoriums, command centers, and multi-room systems where one processor has to reach a lot of devices directly. It carries two RS-232/422/485 ports plus six RS-232-only ports, eight IR/serial outputs, eight digital I/O channels, eight single-pole single-throw relays, and two AXLink interfaces, so most legacy and current gear connects without an expansion frame.
Networking is where it separates itself from smaller controllers: a 10/100 LAN interface for the house network plus four 10/100 ICSLan interfaces with PoE, giving the control system its own isolated device network and powering four endpoints from the controller itself. A 1600 MIPS processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of SDHC flash run NetLinx, Java, and RPM programs, and the security stack covers TLS/SSH, LDAP, X.509 certificates, IPv6, IEEE 802.1X, and FIPS 140-2 cryptography. The 1RU chassis accepts redundant AC and 12V DC power and draws 8.4W in use.
