AKG MDA Series MicroLite Wireless Bodypack Adapter Cable
An AKG MicroLite lavalier or headset microphone terminates in AKG's own mini connector, which is not the connector most wireless bodypack transmitters expect. The MDA series solves that with a short adapter cable: one end is the AKG MicroLite connector, the other is built for a specific brand's bodypack input, so the microphone itself never has to change.
Each MDA number targets one wireless platform: MDA1 stays within AKG's own bodypacks, MDA2 and MDA3 cover Sennheiser's Lemo and 3.5 mm jack transmitters, MDA4 fits Shure's TA4F input, and MDA5 through MDA7 extend the same idea to Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic and Lectrosonics bodypacks. Picking the right one lets a single MicroLite microphone move between transmitter brands as a house inventory grows or changes.
