Aida Imaging AIDA CBL-RJ45 RS-232C Mini-DIN to RJ45 Gender Changer Cable

The CBL-RJ45 is the small piece that makes VISCA control work in the field: an RS-232C gender changer that takes an 8-pin mini-DIN male connector at one end and an RJ45 at the other. It is what connects the CCS-USB controller interface to a VISCA camera, and what lets you cascade several VISCA cameras down one control chain instead of running a separate cable to each head.

RJ45 is the practical part. It means the control run can be ordinary Cat-5 terminated on site to whatever length the room needs, rather than a fixed factory cable you have to coil behind the rack. Keep one in the kit alongside any AIDA camera you plan to control rather than only stream.
