Acebil J805MX Single-stage

The Acebil j-805MX is a single-stage aluminum tripod system with a 75mm ball head and a mid-level spreader, the version of the j-805 built to stay steady on uneven ground. The mid-level spreader braces the three legs partway up rather than at the feet, so the tripod holds its stance on grass, gravel, or an unlevel floor where a ground spreader cannot. The 75mm bowl levels the H805 fluid head fast, and pan and tilt stay smooth under load.

The H805 head carries up to 11 pounds (5 kg) and tilts from +90 to -60 degrees, with fixed counterbalance and drag and a quick-release slide plate for fast camera changes. The single-stage legs raise the camera from 34.2 to 59 inches, and the system ships in a carry case. Choose the j-805GX instead if you work mainly on flat, solid floors.
