Yamaha IH2000 Mid-High Frequency Speaker
IH2000 is the mid-high element of a large Installation Series system, the cabinet you fly over an arena or a big worship room and pair with IS subwoofers below it. Both sections are horn loaded: an 8-inch driver on a rotatable constant-directivity mid horn and a 3-inch voice-coil compression driver on a 1.4-inch exit for the top, crossed at 1.8 kHz on the /64 and 1.9 kHz on the /95.
The suffix is the coverage pattern, and it is what you choose on. The /64 is 60 by 40 degrees for narrow long throws down a room; the /95 is 90 by 50 degrees for wider, shorter coverage. Both horns rotate, so the cabinet can be turned on its side without losing pattern. Enclosures are 30-degree trapezoidal Finnish birch with a 13-ply baffle, finished in textured black or white, with fifteen M10 points for shoulder eyebolts and U-bracket mounting. Passive is the default drive mode, with bi-amp available.
