Vinten 3901-3 HDT-1 Heavy Duty Tripod

The HDT-1 is Vinten's single-stage heavy duty tripod, rated to 140 kg on a four-bolt flat base with QUICKFIX. Single stage means fewer joints and more torsional rigidity, which is what a large camera and box lens combination needs when the operator loads up a pan.

The legs are pinned and glued telescopic sections, and the clamps give a progressive feel to a positive stop so there is no doubt when a leg is locked. Engraved leg markings get all three set to the same length quickly and an integral level bubble finishes the job. Height range is 59 to 123 cm, transport length 78 cm, weight 13.9 kg.
