TOA ER-2230W 30-watt Shoulder Megaphone
The ER-2230W is a 30-watt shoulder-type megaphone (45 watts maximum) that frees both hands for the work at hand. A detachable handheld microphone with its own volume control and on/off switch lets an operator speak from the front while the horn rides on the shoulder, and a built-in whistle cuts through crowd noise to grab attention fast. Neodymium magnets and a polyimide speaker diaphragm push the voice out to roughly 800 meters, with the whistle carrying to about 1000 meters.
Power comes from ten D cells for about 17 hours of use, with a battery-life indicator so a crew is never caught out mid-event. An auxiliary line input and an external microphone input expand it beyond the handheld, and anti-bacterial treatment on the mouthpiece, microphone, and handle keeps it hygienic when passed between people. The durable ABS/ASA resin body is built for field abuse and backed by a five-year warranty. Finished in white/gray.
