Teris TS300 Professional Fluid Head, 100mm Bowl

The TS300 is the heavy end of the Teris head line, rated to carry 30 kg on a 100mm bowl. Teris positions it for EFP cameras with telephoto glass and for small budget film and television work, which is the load range where a lighter head starts to feel vague under the hand. The body is aluminum and the head itself weighs 4.96 kg.

The details are where a head earns its keep. The camera plate is high hardness aluminum, CNC machined, and slides with enough precision to trim balance in small increments; the quick release knob has a safety button so a wrong move does not drop the camera. The tilt brake uses a stainless steel locking screw rather than a softer alloy, and the pan and tilt drag knobs run on a PPS composite chosen for hardness and a tight fit, which is what keeps the feel consistent as the head wears in. The level bubble has a night light mode running on a user-replaceable CR2032 in a modular housing.
