Teris GS-1 Tripod Spreader

A ground spreader stops tripod legs walking outward under load, and it is the cheapest stiffness you can add to a support package. The GS-1 sets the leg spread anywhere between a 440 and 570 mm radius and locks there, which keeps the footprint repeatable when you strike and reset the same shot.

At 0.71 kg it adds almost nothing to the case weight. Keep it fitted for interviews and any locked-off shot on a smooth floor, where legs are most likely to creep.
