Telex CCB-1
The CCB-1 is a dedicated interface that ties one channel of a Telex or Audiocom balanced intercom to a Clear-Com unbalanced system. It converts the audio in both directions and passes the call-light signaling and power each side expects, so two shops running different party-line standards can share a channel without rewiring either one.
The same box is handy for interfacing to camera CCUs that are Clear-Com compatible. It runs from a 24 VDC supply and draws only a few milliamps at idle, making it easy to add to an existing rack when a production needs to bridge systems for the day.
