Teradek Ranger Micro 2500 3G-SDI/HDMI Wireless Transmitter
This is the Ranger Micro 2500 transmitter sold on its own - the unit to buy when a second or third camera joins a shoot that already has Ranger receivers on the other end. It takes 3G-SDI or HDMI in at up to 1080p60 with HDR, passes it through an input scaler, and sends it out with under 0.001 seconds of delay. Range is 2500 ft line of sight, enough to cover a field, a parade route, or a stage-to-truck run across a venue car park.
One transmitter can feed up to six receivers at once, so video village, the DIT cart, and the director's monitor all pull from the same unit. It runs on 7-28 VDC through a 2-pin locking connector, tunes across 4.9 to 6.425 GHz including the 6 GHz U-NII-5 channels, and encrypts the link with AES-256 and RSA-1024 key pairing. Ranger generations are intercompatible, so this transmitter pairs with Ranger Micro receivers already in the kit room.
