Tascam AK-DC16 Dust Cover for Model 16

An installed Model 16 spends most of its life sitting idle in a room that generates dust, and faders and rotary pots are exactly where dust does damage. The AK-DC16 is Tascam's own fitted cover for that console, sized at 17.7 by 18.9 inches to sit over the whole top surface rather than draping loosely over it.

The cover has a flap for cables, so a permanently wired desk in a house of worship, a school hall or a rehearsal room can be covered at the end of the night without unplugging anything and re-patching it in the morning. At 0.86 lb it rolls up small enough to live in the same rack drawer as the rest of the room kit.
